Marco Giese
Palmen24.de is Marco Giese. Marco completed a technical apprenticeship. And then turned to something else: the event business. In 1994 he founded his company "Global Village". He organized parties, concerts and ran his own club. In 2004 he co-organized a large festival in California / USA. Real leaf-preserved palm trees were part of the decoration. In the so-called sunshine state where there are real palm trees everywhere? Yes! The advantages of these palm trees convinced him immediately and so he traveled back with a new idea. And implemented it: His next journey went to India. There he found his longstanding suppliers for palm fronds and coconut fiber. Palmen24.de was born.
Meanwhile palmen24.de is a small, well-functioning team. Six people whirl around the office and do magic in the warehouse logistics - managing the onlineshop. In our workshop the palm trees are built: routinely and lovingly unique specimen for unique specimen. Our two boys not only build the palm trees in Berlin and the surrounding area for rental orders, over the years they have become professionals with a knack for perfect decoration. In addition, the office also handles the import from India, the necessary bookkeeping, always kindly picks up the phone, works through e-mails and is constantly working on improving the online presence. And all the other things that happen: coffee machine broken, car to the garage, to the Do-it-yourself store, printer does not print, and, and, and, and... When a new container from India has found its way via the port of Hamburg to Berlin, the whole team is ready, rolls up its sleeves and gets down to work to sort the entire content of the container into our warehouse, which is unfortunately much too small, within an hour. In the end nobody knows how, but it always fits. Palmen24.de stands for cohesion, teamwork, helping each other, learning over and over again and having fun with the job.
In the meantime palmen24.de is a well-established team of approx. 10 people. The popular real leaf-preserved palm trees sell beyond Germany's borders. Palmen24.de supplies customers from all over Europe - from Great Britain over the Alps to the sunny countries to Italy, France and Spain.
Almost no trade fair takes place in Berlin without palmen24.de making trade fair stands shine in tropical flair. You will find our palms in many films and series as well as on theater stages. Or maybe you are sitting under one when you are eating in a restaurant?
